On August 28, 2025, North Dakota Attorney General Drew H. Wrigley released a statement following the Supreme Court’s decision in the case of Northwest Landowners Association v. State of North Dakota.
“The state laws in question respect the sanctity of private property rights and constitutionally balance the interests of all parties. We have reviewed the Supreme Court’s decision and are prepared to proceed as they have directed,” said Wrigley.
