A Powerball ticket sold in Fargo, North Dakota has won a $100,000 prize in the drawing held Wednesday night. The winning ticket matched four white balls and the Powerball number, with the numbers drawn being 3, 16, 29, 61, 69 and Powerball 22. The winner selected the Power Play option, doubling their prize from $50,000 to $100,000.

The ticket was purchased at Don’s Car Wash located at 2500 52nd Ave S in Fargo. For selling the winning ticket, Don’s Car Wash will receive a $2,000 bonus. According to lottery officials, the holder of the winning ticket must claim their prize at the North Dakota Lottery office within 180 days of the draw.

Thomas Lawler, Attorney General’s Office Director of the North Dakota Lottery said: “The billion-dollar Powerball jackpot run has created a lot of excitement for players as well as a couple of big wins. In addition to this six-figure Powerball win, North Dakota also had a $50,000 Powerball winner on August 23. Powerball has shared its luck with other games, as we also had a Lucky for Life $25,000 a year for life winner in early August.”

The current Powerball jackpot stands at $1.7 billion ahead of Saturday's drawing.
