BISMARCK—U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) awarded Grand Forks Public Schools $2,882,109 to support Head Start projects. The HHS Office of Head Start administers this funding within the Administration for Children and Families.

Head Start and Early Head Start programs provide services for low-income families with young children. They also encourage communities to cultivate enriching environments that promote infants’ and toddlers’ physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development.
