Sen. Cramer Announces Over $5 Million to North Dakota for Public Health Emergency Preparedness

BISMARCK – U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) awarded $5,210,000 to the North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services (NDHHS) for public health emergency preparedness and response. 

The grant funds will support the Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) Cooperative Agreement which provides federal funding for state, local, and territorial public health departments to build and strengthen their abilities to effectively respond to a range of public health threats, including infectious diseases and natural disasters.
