Senator John Hoeven has expressed his support for Senator John Thune following Thune's election as the next Senate Majority Leader. In a statement, Hoeven emphasized his long-standing relationship with Thune and their collaborative efforts on issues significant to the Dakotas.

"I have known Senator Thune for years and he is a proven leader. Given our long-history of working together on issues important to the Dakotas, I supported Senator Thune and look forward to continuing to work with him as our next Senate Majority Leader," said Hoeven.

Hoeven also highlighted that all candidates for the majority leader position were dedicated to advancing President Trump's agenda. He outlined key policy areas they aim to address, including border security, reducing costs for American families, strengthening small businesses such as farms and ranches, restoring U.S. energy dominance, and supporting military personnel and veterans.

"Together with President Trump, we will work to secure the border, lower costs for American families, strengthen our small businesses including our farmers and ranchers, restore U.S. energy dominance, and support our military and veterans," Hoeven stated.
