North Dakota announces assistant attorney general position; applications open until Dec. 24

The North Dakota Office of Attorney General has announced its search for candidates to fill the Assistant Attorney General position. The role offers a salary range of $81,000 to $105,000 annually, accompanied by a comprehensive state benefits package. Applications will be accepted until December 24, 2024.

According to Courtney Titus, director of the Civil Litigation Division and selecting supervisor for this position, the successful candidate will join a team that provides legal services to over 70 state agencies and institutions in North Dakota. Responsibilities include representing the Department of Health and Human Services in administrative proceedings and appellate advocacy before the North Dakota Supreme Court.

Applicants are required to be licensed to practice law in North Dakota or expect imminent admission to the bar. Necessary qualifications include high ethical standards, excellent communication skills, and strong organizational abilities.

Interested individuals should submit their applications online at www.nd.gov/careers by 11:59 PM on the closing date. Required documents include a resume, cover letter, three professional references, and college transcripts.
